It was time for a bit of a facelift in my townhouse so I went to Living Spaces online home & furniture store to find some new pieces to complete my space. I set out with the goal of completing my bedroom furnishing, updating my kitchen stools, and matching the fun 60’s retro style in my living room. You can watch my unboxing on YouTube .

I wanted to challenge myself by not shying away from color in this space. I started with a checkered rug wich was originally so outside of my comfort zone. It has now become the benchmark for everything else in the space. I wanted to move towards a retro feeling so the acrylic elements continued that fun vibe while the dark surf paining brings in some contrast and organic elements.
